Mark Cooke

BMedSci(Hons), MSc

MarkCooke

Mark joined the UK Ambulance Service in 1985 and has held a number of clinical, educational and management roles including Paramedic, Paediatric and Adult Prehospital Advanced Life Support Instructor and Operations Manager.

He has a Bachelors Degree in Paramedic Science and a Masters Degree in Health Service Research from the University of Sheffield.

Before leaving the UK in 2007 to live in Australia, Mark was National Clinical Effectiveness Manager working with the Ambulance Service Association, Department of Health, Prime Minister's Delivery Unit and National Stroke Task Force.

He is a founder and former Board member of the Faculty of Prehospital Care, Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and also a founder and steering group member of the Cochrane Prehospital and Emergency and Health field.

Mark's current role is Regional Manager with Ambulance Victoria.
